MOVE POLICY (SUMMARIZED)

Prior to Moving In: A completed Homeowner/Resident Information form must be given to the Front Desk Administrator in the North Tower Lobby or to Management before moving in is authorized and before entry-access fobs are activated.

  1. Move fees: $175.00 fee for additional security personnel if the move is estimated to take more than four hours.  For moves estimated to take four hours or less, the fee is $88.00.  If such a move takes longer than four hours, an additional $22.00 an hour, or fraction of an hour, will be charged.  A $300.00 deposit must be submitted.  To ensure its full return, you will be accompanied by a Horizons staffer on a “pre/post” move inspection of the area to be traveled during the move.
  2. Movers: Instruct movers to fax proof of liability insurance, minimum of $1,000,000, naming the Association as additional insured, to 619-231-9736.  Please have them contact Management directly on how the association must be listed on the certificate.
  3. Hours: Moving hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.  Moves may not occur on Saturdays, Sundays or major holidays.
